Genius Introduces Next Generation Products At Computex 2006

At just concluded Computex 2006 in Taiwan, Genius one of the leading IT peripheral and Consumer Electronics brand across the globe announced the launch of their complete new portfolio of Next Generation products consisting of speakers and headphones for digital audio, remote controls and home theater speaker system for home entertainment, webcams for Internet video calling, headset for mobile phone, Internet talking, or on-line game; and laser mice and keyboards for gaming.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sandeep Ramani, Country Manager, KYE Systems (India) Corp. said, “With the launch of such an exciting new range of products build with cutting edge technology and superior looks, we are extremely bullish and confident to serve Indian market in much better fashion”.

This new range of Genius products is fully loaded with cutting edge technologies like BlueTooth stereo, laser optical, and have been made with new age special materials to give them ultra sleek look and comfort. The products have been classified into six categories and the complete details are mentioned below:

Digital Audio Products
Genius introduced six new products in its audio products for the growing digital music consumers. A one-piece 20-watt stereo speaker in black for iPod Nano, 6-watt USB speakers and 2.1 flat speakers with clear sound and deep bass for notebook or MP3 music. Also 45-watt 2.1, 45-watt 5.1 speakers with a wired remote, and 75-watt speaker system especial designed for on-line gaming. Genius has also released Live series headphones, which include in-ear with noise isolation, clip-on type with deep bass and deluxe full-size for rich sound.

Digital Home Products

The first wireless 5.1 home theater system with BlueTooth stereo technology and Dolby Pro Logic & DTS decoding version will be demonstrated and will be available in August. Also, Genius introduces one intelligent remote control with home appliance and Media Center Edition (MCE) function support, and one multimedia keyboard for MCE PC.

Gaming Products

For PC games, more options such as wireless laser optical mice with password verification and up to 15-month battery life, ergonomic keyboard to play games with mouse, comfortable headset for on-line games, mini racing wheels for children and a mini pad with retractable cable for notebook travel. For game consoles, one arcade stick for PS2 and two force feedback racing wheels are available, with one for PS2 & PC, and the other for PS2 & XBOX & PC.

Voice and Video Communications

Genius has three affordable new webcams for people to have live video calls using Skype and MSN Messenger. These are the Slim 310NB webcam with a depth of only 1.39 cm, Look 310S lipstick-like webcam, and the Look 313 Media webcam with speakers. A new Skype phone with LCD screen will also be released during this show.

Mobile Products

For MP3 mobile phone, Genius has stereo BlueTooth headsets BT-02N for receiving phone calls and music listening. This advanced mobile headset also has an option for a USB dongle receiver for those who need to use a notebook without Bluetooth built-in.

Laser/Gaming Mice

As a leader in input devices, Genius continues to show their technological expertise in laser/optical and gaming mice. Three new mice devices will be released. The Navigator 805 has 1600 dpi laser tracking power and can work up to 10 meters, includes a security password function and has a power saving switch. The Navigator 900 Pro uses Bluetooth technology can be used up to 10 meters away, and the dongle can connect up to seven devices conveniently. Our professional laser gaming mouse, the Navigator 535 Agama has a trendy cloth cable, uses a switch to adjust the resolution (2000/1600/800 dpi), includes four programmable keys and can save up to five game profiles. Best of all, it has a rubber coating so it feels smooth no matter how long you use it.
