Most Advanced Hospital in France chooses Lincor for bedside entertainment and clinical access

Ireland, 25 September 2008 – MEDIVista™ from Lincor Solutions has been successfully installed at the 620 bed, state-of-the-art Centre Hospitalier de la Region d’Annecy (CHRA), in France. MEDIVista™ provides patients and medical staff with secure bedside access to clinical data and hospital information together with fully digital entertainment and communication services.

Jean-Pascal Saide, Business Development Manager Healthcare, at Alcatel-Lucent said, “Working in partnership with Lincor Solutions we have been able to install a high-tech, reliable, scalable communications and entertainment system for the medical staff, administrators and patients at CHRA. In-patients have access to a level of automation, information and entertainment services not previously experienced in French hospitals.”

The new system has been implemented across all 620 beds at Centre Hospitalier de la Region d’Annecy and will enable all in-patients to access Digital TV and radio services, Cable Internet and VoIP telephony. Each in-patient can use features enabling him to pause, rewind and replay his favourite programmes at will.
